Miscellaneous Chain

Marine chain—primarily stud link anchor chain—is engineered for anchoring and mooring in harsh seawater environments, featuring hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel (AISI 316) construction per ISO 1705, ISO 4385, or DNV-ST-N001 standards. The welded studs prevent kinking, reduce wear between links, and enhance load distribution. Common grades include R3 (standard), R3S (high tensile), and R4/R4S (ultra-high strength) for offshore vessels. Certified by classification societies (e.g., ABS, LR, BV), each batch is tested for elongation, break load, and coating thickness.
