Wire Rope Steel Sleeve

Wire Rope Steel Sleeve is used to create permanent end terminations for wire rope assemblies in lifting, rigging, and load-bearing applications. Installed by hydraulic or mechanical swaging, the steel sleeve compresses uniformly around the wire rope to form a secure mechanical bond and reliable load transfer. Compared with aluminum sleeves, steel sleeves are selected for higher load capacities, greater resistance to impact and vibration, and long-term durability in demanding industrial environments. Sleeves are precisely matched to wire rope diameters and commonly manufactured from carbon steel or alloy steel, with plain or galvanized finishes available. Proper die selection and controlled swaging procedures are critical to achieving consistent strength, making wire rope steel sleeves widely used in cranes, port handling equipment, mining systems, structural tensioning, and OEM wire rope assemblies.
