EN 12385-4 Class 6×7+FC Steel Wire Rope – High Strength Fiber Core Wire Rope

This steel wire rope conforms to the European standard EN 12385-4 and features a classic 6×7 construction with a fiber core (FC). Each of the six strands consists of seven wires arranged in a 1+6 configuration, resulting in 36 outer wires that deliver excellent resistance to abrasion and crushing. The fiber core enhances flexibility and provides shock absorption, making the rope well-suited for applications involving repeated bending over sheaves or drums.

Available in diameters from 2 mm to 40 mm, it supports tensile strengths of 1770 MPa and 1960 MPa, with minimum breaking forces ranging from 2.35 kN (2 mm) to 940 kN (40 mm).
