6×36 Steel Wire Rope ISO 2408 Class – Ultra-Flexible Multi-Construction Rope

The 6×36 class steel wire rope is a high-performance, multi-strand configuration designed for applications requiring exceptional flexibility and superior fatigue resistance. Compliant with ISO 2408:2017, it encompasses various strand constructions including 6×31WS, 6×29F, 6×36WS, 6×37FS, 6×41WS, 6×41F, 6×43FS, 6×46WS, and 6×49FS—each engineered to balance outer wire wear resistance with inner layer flexibility.

This rope is available with Fiber Core (FC) or Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), supporting tensile strengths of 1770, 1960, and up to 2160 MPa. Diameter ranges from 7mm to 60mm, with minimum breaking forces reaching an impressive 2770 kN.

Its high number of outer wires (up to 18 per strand in 6×46WS) ensures smooth operation over sheaves and drums, minimizing wear and extending service life.
