Wire Rope Sling
Single-Leg Wire Rope Slings
Single-Leg Wire Rope Slings are EIPS IWRC wire rope slings built for straight single-line lifts, offered with eye-eye, eye-thimble, or eye-hook end terminations to match different hook and shackle connections. Rope diameters range from 1/4 inch to 2 inches, giving a wide working load span from 0.65 tons up to 37 tons in vertical hitch, scaling down for choker and up for basket hitch configurations. As a single-leg design, capacity is not affected by leg angle the way multi-leg bridle slings are, which makes rated load selection simpler and more predictable for straight vertical or basket lifts. Each size pairs a matched thimble and hook rated to the same working load limit as the rope body, so the sling performs as one calibrated system rather than mismatched parts. This makes it the practical first choice for single-point lifting tasks in construction, machinery handling, and general rigging where a multi-leg configuration is not required.
