Leg Chain Sling with Swivel Safety Hooks and Master Equalizer (DOS)

This Leg Chain Sling with Swivel Safety Hooks and Master Equalizer (DOS) is assembled with two alloy steel chain legs connected through a forged swivel equalizer assembly at the top master link, with safety-latched swivel hooks at each lower terminal — combining load equalization, torsion relief, and positive hook retention in a single heavy-duty lifting assembly.

The swivel equalizer at the head allows both chain legs to automatically adjust and equalize load distribution between the two attachment points, compensating for minor load asymmetry and reducing the risk of overloading one leg during off-center picks. Each lower swivel safety hook rotates independently to prevent chain twist under dynamic load conditions, while the safety latch ensures positive load retention throughout the lift cycle.

This configuration is particularly suited for lifting asymmetrical loads, fabricated steel structures, precast concrete elements, and machinery requiring precision load control and hook orientation flexibility. Available in chain diameters from 7 mm to 22 mm, with Working Load Limits from 2.24 to 32.6 tonnes at 0° vertical, and custom leg lengths from 1 to 4 meters as standard.

All components — chain, equalizer, master link, and swivel safety hooks — are Grade 80 forged alloy steel, proof-tested individually and as a complete assembly to EN 818-4 requirements. The sling is supplied with a load-rated ID tag and full material traceability documentation for compliance with ASME B30.9, EN 818-4, and LOLER statutory inspection requirements.
