18×7+FC Steel Wire Rope – EN 12385-4

This EN 12385-4 compliant rope features an 18-strand construction with a fiber core (FC). Each strand follows a 1-6 configuration, resulting in 72 outer wires that contribute to a stable, low-rotation profile under load. The fiber core adds flexibility and shock absorption, which is beneficial in static or semi-static lifting scenarios.

It is available in diameters from 6 mm to 28 mm, with tensile strengths of 1770 and 1960 MPa. Minimum breaking forces range from 20.9 kN (6 mm FC) to 504 kN (28 mm FC). Typical applications include mine shaft hoisting, elevator traction systems, and vertical transport of heavy materials where controlled movement and load stability are essential.
