34(M)×7+FC/IWRC Steel Wire Rope – EN 12385-4
This multi-layer rope features 34 to 36 strands arranged in three layers (typically 17–18 outer strands), each strand constructed as a simple 1-6 configuration. With a total of 170–324 wires and a fiber core (FC) or steel core option, the 34(M)×7 design delivers exceptional resistance to rotation and kinking—critical for single-rope lifting systems.
The high strand count and symmetrical lay provide outstanding rotational stability under load, minimizing rope spin and ensuring smooth, safe operation. The compact cross-section offers good abrasion resistance, while the steel core variant enhances breaking force and reduces elongation. Minimum breaking force factor K = 0.318 ensures reliable strength across all diameters.
