EN - 12385 - 4 Wire Rope
35(W)×7+FC Steel Wire Rope – EN 12385-4
EN 12385 - 4 CLASS - 35(W)X7 steel wire rope is a high-quality steel wire rope with specific construction details. The rope has 28 to 40 strands, with 15 to 18 outer strands and 3 layers of strands. Each strand contains 5 to 9 wires, with 4 to 8 outer wires and 1 layer of wire. Excluding the steel core, there are 196 to 280 wires in the rope.
For its performance, the minimum breaking force factor varies. For rope grades up to and including 1960, K3 = 0.360, and for grades greater than 1960 up to and including 2160, K3 = 0.350. The nominal length mass factor is W3 = 0.454, and the nominal metallic cross-sectional area factor is C3 = 0.480.
Available in different nominal diameters ranging from 8mm to 40mm, the rope has corresponding reference weights and minimum breaking forces at different nominal tensile strengths (1770 MPa and 1960 MPa). This steel wire rope is suitable for a variety of applications where reliable and durable wire ropes are required.
