6×35NW-IWRC Steel Wire Rope – EN 12385-4

Designed to meet EN 12385-4 requirements, the 6×35NW-IWRC steel wire rope employs a non-rotating (rotation-resistant) multi-layer strand structure, such as 6×35NW (1-6-6+6/16). This configuration uses 16 outer wires per strand to balance wear resistance with flexibility, while the overall 6-strand layout counteracts torque during lifting.

The IWRC core enhances crush resistance and maintains rope integrity under heavy loads. Offered in diameters from 8 mm to 60 mm, it supports tensile strengths up to 2160 MPa, with breaking forces reaching 2430 kN (60 mm). It is typically deployed in deep-mining hoists, single-rope crane systems, and offshore subsea operations where load rotation must be prevented.
