Grade 100 Alloy Chain
Heat-Treated Overhead Lifting Grade 100 Alloy Steel
This Heat-Treated Overhead Lifting Grade 100 Alloy Steel represents the highest performance tier of overhead lifting chain, manufactured from heat-treated alloy steel to deliver a 25% higher working load limit than Grade 80 equivalents — enabling lighter chain weights for the same rated capacity and reducing operator fatigue in demanding rigging, hoist, and crane applications.
Each link is precision-forged, welded, and proof-tested at twice the Working Load Limit, with every batch subject to destructive break testing to verify minimum tensile strength compliance with ASME B30.9 and EN 818-2 overhead lifting standards.
Available in six sizes from 9/32" to 3/4" (7 mm to 20 mm), with Working Load Limits ranging from 4,300 lbs. to 35,300 lbs. and chain weights from 0.88 to 2.29 lbs. per foot, this chain is engineered for multi-leg sling assemblies, hoist drops, and critical lifting tasks in manufacturing, construction, and offshore industries.
The alloy steel composition and heat treatment provide superior impact toughness at low temperatures, making this chain suitable for cold-storage and outdoor winter rigging environments. Stock numbers are available in standard reel lengths of 100 to 800 feet depending on diameter, supporting both bulk distribution and fabricated sling assembly production.
