Hot Dip Galvanized Drop Forged Bolt-Type Shackle is one of the standard fittings in SAFETYLIFT's wire rope and rigging hardware range, produced consistent with ASTM/commercial bolt-type shackle practice. As a galvanized bolt-type shackle, it uses a removable bolt, nut and cotter pin instead of a screw pin, preventing the pin from backing out under vibration or rotation. Manufacturing-wise, the part is drop forged alloy steel body, hot dip galvanized for long-term corrosion resistance in exposed environments.
